Ysterplaat primary prides themselves that they are a small school with a big heart and at Ysterplaat Primary they strive to ensure all their pupils become well-rounded, happy and secure human beings who are well prepared to face future challenges

However one challenge the school is facing now is a lack of funds.  Due to lay offs, temporary retrenchments and closures of too many sectors to mention the majority of parents could not pay their school fees for the remainder of this year.  Not wanting to close due to lack of funds Ysterplaat Primary decided to do what they do best, open their hearts even bigger.  Together with SAASA they want to give away some fun and amazing prizes all in exchange for a small donation. 

But because just giving money is not as much fun, they have turned it into a colouring in competition.  So please follow this link, pick your picture and start colouring!!
